In Isolation

I thought I would just like to put pen to paper, well fingers to keyboard, and document my families time spent while in 12 week isolation from coronavirus (Covid-19).

My wife falls into the high risk category, as she is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma (blood cancer) and has been given the stark government advice to stay indoors and see no-one, don't go out, don't pass go and definitely don't collect £200. We are all joining her on her 12 week journey - hopefully by which time things may have changed for the better.

Day 31

22/04/2020

It has only taken 4 and a half weeks, but it finally happened, the girls came out of their bedrooms today for something other than a meal...!

Day 30

21/04/2020

With just over 4 weeks of shielding down our thoughts have turned to what happens next. The government, with their original information regarding shielding gave the expectation that the vulnerable would be expected to stay indoors and away from people for 12 weeks, at least.

Day 29

20/04/2020

One of the things about being locked up is that little things annoy you (well they do me), also being indoors 24/7 you tend to find you get a routine and rely on that routine to keep things normal and controlled.
