In Isolation

I thought I would just like to put pen to paper, well fingers to keyboard, and document my families time spent while in 12 week isolation from coronavirus (Covid-19).

My wife falls into the high risk category, as she is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma (blood cancer) and has been given the stark government advice to stay indoors and see no-one, don't go out, don't pass go and definitely don't collect £200. We are all joining her on her 12 week journey - hopefully by which time things may have changed for the better.

Day 91

21/06/2020

Well today was Father's Day here in the UK. Clearly someone hadn't told our little one that it was supposed to be a day of rest, as he decided to wake up at 4.30 this morning. He came into bed with us, but he didn't really settle - he did sit reasonably well while Turbo was played again!

Day 90

20/06/2020

Nice morning here in Kent. Started off with little one coming into bed with us and watching his favourite film - again - I did try him with something else off of Netflix, but he just wasn't having it. Turbo it is then!

Day 89

19/06/2020

I'll keep writing this blog as long as we stay in shielding - I am not sure how many people are reading it, though the page views appear to indicate that there are a few, or for that matter how interesting people are finding it, generally! However it does give me chance to vent sometimes, so I feel it is doing me good....
