In Isolation

I thought I would just like to put pen to paper, well fingers to keyboard, and document my families time spent while in 12 week isolation from coronavirus (Covid-19).

My wife falls into the high risk category, as she is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma (blood cancer) and has been given the stark government advice to stay indoors and see no-one, don't go out, don't pass go and definitely don't collect £200. We are all joining her on her 12 week journey - hopefully by which time things may have changed for the better.

Day 105

05/07/2020

I think the not going out is starting to get to all of us now, as even our little one had a really bad day today, he couldn't settle to anything and just seemed to be upset all the time, which really isn't like him, but thinking about it he has been building up to this for the past few days! I think like the rest of us he is going a bit stir crazy!...

Day 104

04/07/2020

Happy Independence Day! Today is the day when the UK, well the English part of it, can go back to the pub. I'm guessing it will be a very different pub experience. For me, well us, we will stay where we are and have a couple of beers from our beer fridge in the summer house! A lot cheaper and safer!...
