Day 62
Today was one of those days, where it was a bit of a do nothing day, but at the same time we did quite a lot. Since this shielding process has started I have tried to set myself little goals of things to do - actually, no let's rewind - my wife has been setting me goals of things to do! That's better, you know it's good to tell the truth...!
Anyway, back to today - I have mentioned previously that we have converted our bar in the garden back into a summer house, well the wife had decided it would be a good idea to now put our Xbox and TV in the summer house, so that was my task for today!
So we now have a beer fridge, ice cream freezer, Xbox and TV in the summer house - so we are all kitted out for a good summer.
It was later in the afternoon that our plans got the seal of approval, when we looked round and found our little one, laying on one of the giant bean bags, his hands behind his head, watching The Twirlywoos - he was in heaven! Just have to make sure he stays clear of the ice cream freezer!
I finished off my planting from yesterday, as we decided the few plants I had left would fill out the last fence bag I had left. The ones I had planted yesterday, in the main, look quite good. There are a couple of plants that haven't quite taken yet, but hopefully they will.
Over the last few days I have noticed that I have put one or two comments on this blog that could be deemed as political. It's difficult not to make comments that could be seen that way, but I honestly think that I would be saying the same whatever colour of tie was being worn, however I am not sure that other parties than the current one would treat people with such disdain, especially at a time of deep crisis....
