Day 139
Another wonderful day in Kent, on days like today Kent lives up to its nickname of The Garden of England - the sun shone, the birds sang, and our little one splashed, and splashed and splashed in his pool.
We have spent pretty much the whole day in the garden - although it was a bit of a false start, as little one took himself off to bed late morning and promptly fell asleep for a couple of hours in his bed. Mind you when he got up he was a very happy boy - his lunch was ready when he woke - so he was fed and watered ready for the pool.
Usually he gets a little fed up of the pool, but today he was in his element - I am sure if we had a slightly larger, deeper pool then he would have been swimming by the end of the day. He was like a little dolphin in the pool, arms, legs and midriff flexing. I think when all this stuff is over we are going to have to try and find him a teacher who specialises in teaching autistic children to swim!
We played our daily garden games and just enjoyed the day. As I type this, little one is currently bouncing round his bed, laughing his head off and heavens knows what - he's happy, that's the main thing - hopefully he will settle soon...
