In Isolation

I thought I would just like to put pen to paper, well fingers to keyboard, and document my families time spent while in 12 week isolation from coronavirus (Covid-19).

My wife falls into the high risk category, as she is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma (blood cancer) and has been given the stark government advice to stay indoors and see no-one, don't go out, don't pass go and definitely don't collect £200. We are all joining her on her 12 week journey - hopefully by which time things may have changed for the better.

Day 4

26/03/2020

Day 4, "in the house"... funny how you quickly get into a routine of pre supposed normality! We have now got a little routine first thing whereby I go downstairs and make tea and coffee for my wife and I and the little one comes into bed with us!

Day 3

25/03/2020

Well day 3 and once again the sun is shining here in Kent. Sitting out in my garden, with a morning cup of tea, it would be very easy to forget that there is a war going on in the big wide world outside our four walls and garden!

Day 2

24/03/2020

I forgot to mention that yesterday, our first day of shielding was also my wife's birthday. Many happy returns! A grand way to spend your birthday, sorry love! There's always next year, we can celebrate your 60th in style!
