In Isolation

I thought I would just like to put pen to paper, well fingers to keyboard, and document my families time spent while in 12 week isolation from coronavirus (Covid-19).

My wife falls into the high risk category, as she is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma (blood cancer) and has been given the stark government advice to stay indoors and see no-one, don't go out, don't pass go and definitely don't collect £200. We are all joining her on her 12 week journey - hopefully by which time things may have changed for the better.

Day 58

19/05/2020

We should have been going on holiday next week, so as today was such a nice day we decided to treat today like a holiday day! It is a bit of a thing with us when on our hols that we have a cooked breakfast for at least half of the week. So today, we got together the ingredients for a traditional (for us) English breakfast....

Day 57

18/05/2020

Today was a nice family day - started off with tea and biscuits in bed, which is always nice, a very pleasant way to start the day! Little one loves it, and Julie enjoys this time with him, as it makes up a bit for the time she lost with him when she wasn't well...

Day 56

17/05/2020

Well today is 8 weeks down, 8 weeks since Boris told the vulnerable to shield - I'm not 100% convinced they know we are still here, but as long as we don't make a fuss they will say sit tight, you're in until the end of June!
