In Isolation

I thought I would just like to put pen to paper, well fingers to keyboard, and document my families time spent while in 12 week isolation from coronavirus (Covid-19).

My wife falls into the high risk category, as she is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma (blood cancer) and has been given the stark government advice to stay indoors and see no-one, don't go out, don't pass go and definitely don't collect £200. We are all joining her on her 12 week journey - hopefully by which time things may have changed for the better.

Well, 10 weeks down - it's funny, it's seems an eternity ago that I started this blog, but at the same time that 10 weeks has flown by. When this started and the talk was of 12 weeks shielding, and then until the end of June, it seemed an absolute age, it was hard to imagine staying indoors for that amount of time....

Little man spent his second night in his new bed, having not settled in bed until nearly 10pm we rather hoped he would have a lay in, but only managed until 7 this morning, but at least he appears to really like the bed, as he was quite happy to play for another 30 minutes - the bed seems a great success....
