In Isolation

I thought I would just like to put pen to paper, well fingers to keyboard, and document my families time spent while in 12 week isolation from coronavirus (Covid-19).

My wife falls into the high risk category, as she is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma (blood cancer) and has been given the stark government advice to stay indoors and see no-one, don't go out, don't pass go and definitely don't collect £200. We are all joining her on her 12 week journey - hopefully by which time things may have changed for the better.

Day 97

The weather finally broke here in Kent. Not woken up to actual rain for a while, so in a strange way it made a nice change! Well it seemed like a nice change. Problem is our little one has got so used to being outside that he couldn't settle all day.

Day 96

Little one had another disturbed night's sleep - think the heat is getting to him. To be fair he only spends about 3 hours making various noises, but when you have a monitor on it disturbs your sleep (well my wife's in particular).

Day 95

The wife had an early start to the day, as she was woken by our little one at around 1am, as he was awake and making noises. I heard him, but clearly went back to sleep. After a while she got up and got into bed with him evidently he was on another planet, laughing and messing around, so much...
